Random Thought #248

Ever wonder what the stars are for? Why'd our Creator make them? Surely, they're not just for the sake of beauty...or are they? Do they have a function? Is their function helpful to us? The sun heats and provides energy. The moon cools and controls the tides. Both are timepieces, but what do the stars do? And there are millions of them...maybe more. They can be seen from all over the world. Anyone ever seen them on a clear night? Maybe from a place in nature undisturbed by pollution, lights and other distractions? Different sizes...some seem to actually radiate flashes of color, but what are they for? Our Creator has a purpose for everything and we've studied them for centuries, but what are they for?
